Spotlight Flooring: Padua Color
Picking out the right hardwood flooring for your home doesn’t have to be a big deal. However, if you are finding it a little tricky on deciding on what option is the best for you, then let the experts here at ADM Flooring® help you out. In this blog, we will take a look at our Padua color, within our Pavia collection, which has a light but very popular and transitional color tone.
What is Padua?
The Padua color is one of the lighter-toned colors from the Pavia Collection. Similar to our other color options, each board in the Padua color is 5/8 inches thick, and 7.5 inches wide. The extra thickness helps to add to the comfort of your floor while the wide planks help to give your home more of a stylish look. Along with the thick planks, the Padua color’s boards are mostly 73 inches long. When combined with wide planks, longer floorboards will show more of the natural grain patterns of the wood giving a richer look and overall feel.
Type of Wood
Padua is created with only the highest-quality European White Oak top layer. European White Oak is one of the more popular choices for hardwood flooring. Not only is the grain pattern distinctive and stunning but it is easy to stain European White Oak much like a blank canvas. In other words, it is easy to get the perfect color floor without having to sacrifice the natural appearance of the hardwood.
Color
The Padua color is one of our most popular options, and it’s easy to see why. Padua is a light-tan tinted color that works well in any style home. If you are going for more of a modern look, then the lighter color is great at adding to the perceived space of your rooms. Also, the rich light-tan tint can help enhance the elegance of your room, allowing a traditional look as well.
Texture
Adding texture to hardwood is one of the best ways to complement it. ADM Flooring® Padua hardwood is individually wire brushed to add to the uniqueness of the hardwood grain pattern.
Finish
If your hardwood flooring isn’t finished and sealed properly, it won’t last the test of time. To ensure that you get the most out of your hardwood flooring, ADM Flooring® uses multiple thin layers of UV Lacquer to seal and finish each board of the Padua color. The UV Lacquer not only protects your floor, but it helps to prevent damage caused by light exposure.
Grade
Like the other popular hardwood flooring options from the Pavia Collection, the Padua color is made from the highest-quality ABCD graded wood. With ABCD graded wood, more of the natural grain pattern is preserved thus giving your floor a naturally beautiful look. Also, you get all the knots that you can expect in hardwood flooring without going rustic.
The Padua option is one of the most popular color options from the Pavia Collection. With its unique light-tan color and wide planks, the Padua color will add a unique style and warmth to any home.
